Australians named worst emitters

As an Australian, I find this rather embarrassing.
Australians named worst emitters
A study of the world’s power stations has shown the extent to which developed countries produce more carbon dioxide per head than emerging economies.
Australians were found to be the world’s worst polluters per capita, producing five times as much carbon from generating power as China.

What to trade

I’m patiently waiting for the USDCAD to continue it’s downward spiral, I’m happy enough to wait. There’s a good chance it may still go up beyond the 23.6 retracement, I’m hopeful it doesn’t for my ATC chances.

Good story about recent financial speedbumps

I recently read a story along the lines of this one, though this one (you might need a free registration, in which case bugmenot is your friend) is much more comprehensive.
It’s about the quants making a mess with subprime mortgages then cashing out of some equity positions to make up for their losses.
